Women Entrepreneurs

Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way

India has shown us with a history which has always made women traditionally to have domestic responsibilities with just doing household things. Also we have come from a past where culture has taught that women spending time for working outside was considered as less responsible for their families and there were and still are many orthodox hindrance at some places for women who want to grow their skills outside their comfort zones, outside their homes. But the biggest achievement was women themselves realizing values of their own skills and ambitions and most importantly knowing their worth in this society and how their contribution to society is equally significant and important.

It feels a great joy when it comes to talking about women's uprising in a male dominant world and an era with a great combination of Indian women and business. Previously Indian women was known for converting money earned by men to food to eat for the whole family and in today's scenario the same women knows how to earn money as well. An amazing sight of world where the country with extraordinary home managers stepping into being a business tycoon.

Here we have some esteemed personalities in front of us, Indira Nooyi, Vandana Luthra, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Priya Paul and many more setting examples for Indian women to be independent and make their own business empowering ambitions of Indian women for becoming an businesswoman.

Talking about statistics and facts India has about 49% women of their total population and out of which 15% of which are entrepreneurs. Also it makes me really glad to say that India has a good proportion of women as entrepreneurs under the age of 30.

Well the real happiness rises when we see society and country celebrating this new avatar of Indian women. My India is changing, it's becoming a better place to live and work for women.

Thank you for reading.
